What is CVE-2019-17060?

The implementation of the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) stack in the NXP KW41Z suffers from a flaw that fails to properly control the BLE Link Layer header. When a packet with a Link Layer ID (LLID) equal to zero is received, this vulnerability allows attackers within radio range to exploit conditions that may lead to system deadlocks, unintended behavior in the BLE state machine, or even buffer overflow incidents due to crafted BLE Link Layer frames.
