What is CVE-2019-17389?

In the RIOT Operating System version 2019.07, the MQTT-SN implementation contains an error handling flaw where errors during read operations on a UDP socket are mishandled. This issue leads to the premature termination of the receive loop. As a result, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a large packet, causing the MQTT-SN client to become unresponsive until a device restart occurs, which can severely disrupt service functionality.
