What is CVE-2019-17495?

A CSS injection vulnerability in Swagger UI versions before 3.23.11 allows attackers to leverage the Relative Path Overwrite technique. This flaw enables the exfiltration of sensitive values, such as CSRF tokens, by embedding untrusted JSON data from remote servers. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by exploiting the @import directive within JSON data, an approach that facilitates the unauthorized retrieval of confidential information without the user’s consent.
