What is CVE-2019-17517?
The Bluetooth Low Energy implementation on Dialog Semiconductor's SDK versions up to 5.0.4 for DA14580/1/2/3 devices contains a vulnerability due to insufficient restrictions on the L2CAP payload length. This flaw could enable attackers within radio range to exploit the vulnerability by sending specially crafted Link Layer packets, potentially leading to a buffer overflow condition.
