Summary

A buffer overflow vulnerability has been discovered in the baremetal component of Apache CloudStack, impacting versions prior to 4.13.1. The issue arises from inadequate validation of the mac parameter in the baremetal virtual router. This flaw allows the injection of arbitrary shell commands through specially crafted URLs, which could lead to unauthorized commands being executed.
