What is CVE-2019-17612?

A SQL Injection vulnerability exists in 74CMS version 5.2.8 due to inadequate validation of input parameters in the backend. Specifically, the issue arises in the _list method located in the Common/Controller/BackendController.class.php file, where unsanitized user input from the category sort parameter can be manipulated to execute arbitrary SQL queries. This flaw allows an attacker to compromise the database and potentially extract sensitive information or modify the database contents.
