What is CVE-2019-17639?

An issue exists in Eclipse OpenJ9 on Power platforms where invoking the System.arraycopy method with an incorrect length could result in the method returning prematurely. This behavior may produce an undefined return value, potentially leading to unpredictable results if the return register value is utilized without proper validation against the method's specified return type.
