What is CVE-2019-18658?

In Helm versions 2.0.0 through 2.15.1, the handling of chart directories and packaging mechanism may allow a malicious chart to disclose sensitive files, such as /etc/passwd, and potentially cause a denial of service (DoS) by leveraging special files like /dev/urandom through symlink manipulation. This vulnerability affects only the client side, with no known impact on Tiller.
