Unauthorized Telnet Service Exposure on D-Link DAP-1360 Revision F Devices
CVE-2019-18666
What is CVE-2019-18666?
D-Link DAP-1360 Revision F devices are susceptible to a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to initiate a telnet service without authorization through an undocumented HTTP request. The severity of the impact varies depending on the firmware version in use. Specifically, versions 609EU through 613EUbeta contain weak root credentials that facilitate unauthorized remote root access. Although subsequent firmware versions (after 6.12b01) altered the root credentials, the unauthorized telnet service can still be activated, posing a significant security risk.
