The json-jwt gem, prior to version 1.11.0, for Ruby is susceptible to a flaw in its handling of JSON Web Encryption (JWE) strings. This vulnerability arises from the absence of an element count check during the splitting process, potentially allowing attackers to exploit this weakness for unauthorized access or manipulation of encrypted data.
