Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Auth0 Lock
CVE-2019-20174
6.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2019-20174?
Auth0 Lock versions prior to 11.21.0 are susceptible to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This occurs when the 'additionalSignUpFields' feature is used with an untrusted placeholder, potentially allowing an attacker to inject malicious scripts. When users interact with the affected fields, they can be exposed to malicious content, jeopardizing user data and application security. Developers and administrators using affected versions are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
