Summary

A vulnerability exists in the Android Setup Wizard where a missing permission check in the updateAssistMenuItems method of Editor.java can allow an unauthorized user to escape the Setup Wizard. This flaw could lead to local escalation of privileges and a Factory Reset Protection (FRP) bypass without requiring additional execution privileges. As a result, an attacker could potentially exploit this weakness to gain greater access to the device without user interaction.
