What is CVE-2019-2090?
A permissions bypass vulnerability exists in the isPackageDeviceAdminOnAnyUser function of PackageManagerService.java within Android. This flaw allows an attacker to escalate privileges locally without needing to obtain any additional permissions or requiring user interaction for exploitation. The affected versions of Android include 7.0, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 8.0, 8.1, and 9, which may leave devices susceptible to unauthorized access and control.
