What is CVE-2019-25285?

The Alps Pointing-device Controller version 8.1202.1711.04 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability within the ApHidMonitorService component. This flaw enables local attackers to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges by placing malicious executables in the service's path. As a result, when the service is restarted or the system is rebooted, these executables may run with system-level access, severely compromising system integrity and allowing for potential exploitation.
