What is CVE-2019-25290?

The Smartliving SmartLAN/G/SI product version 6.x and earlier is susceptible to an unauthenticated server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. This issue exists within the GetImage functionality, where attackers can exploit the 'host' parameter to send crafted requests through the onvif.cgi endpoint. By specifying external domains, unauthorized individuals are able to bypass established firewalls and perform network reconnaissance via arbitrary HTTP requests, potentially exposing sensitive information and internal resources to malicious actors.
