What is CVE-2019-25340?
SpotAuditor 5.3.2 is susceptible to a denial of service attack due to a flaw in its Base64 decryption functionality. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing an oversized buffer that crashes the application. Specifically, when a malformed input file containing 2000 repeated characters is inserted into the Base64 Encrypted Password field, it triggers an application crash. This could lead to significant disruption for users relying on the software for password management.
