What is CVE-2019-25370?

OPNsense version 19.1 is vulnerable to a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw, which allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into the web interface. By submitting specially crafted input through various parameters such as 'tag', 'descr', or 'vlanif' in POST requests to the interfaces_vlan_edit.php page, an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the victim's browser. This can lead to unauthorized actions or data theft from users interacting with the compromised interface.
