What is CVE-2019-25375?

OPNsense 19.1 is susceptible to a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability that can be exploited by unauthorized users. This security flaw enables attackers to inject harmful JavaScript payloads into the mailserver parameter and submit them through POST requests to the monit interface. Upon doing so, the malicious scripts can execute in the browsers of users who access the impacted service, thereby potentially allowing attackers to manipulate user sessions or steal sensitive data.
