What is CVE-2019-25378?

Smoothwall Express 3.1-SP4-polar-x86_64-update9 is susceptible to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities in the proxy.cgi endpoint. These vulnerabilities enable attackers to inject malicious scripts via parameters such as CACHE_SIZE, MAX_SIZE, MIN_SIZE, MAX_OUTGOING_SIZE, and MAX_INCOMING_SIZE. By sending crafted POST requests containing script payloads, an attacker can store or reflect arbitrary JavaScript code. This code executes in the browsers of users who access the proxy configuration page, potentially compromising user data and security.
