What is CVE-2019-25384?
Smoothwall Express 3.1-SP4-polar-x86_64-update9 is susceptible to multiple reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities through its portfw.cgi script. These vulnerabilities enable attackers to inject and execute malicious JavaScript code in the browsers of users through unvalidated parameters. By sending specially crafted POST requests containing script payloads via parameters such as EXT, SRC_PORT_SEL, SRC_PORT, DEST_IP, DEST_PORT_SEL, or COMMENT, attackers can manipulate web interactions, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft.
