What is CVE-2019-25405?
The Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 version is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that enables attackers to inject malicious scripts. By submitting specially crafted input to the newLicense parameter during license activation, threat actors can send POST requests that contain script payloads. This vulnerability potentially allows the execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of administrators’ web browsers, which can lead to a range of security risks, compromising sensitive data and system integrity.
