What is CVE-2019-25415?
Comodo Dome Firewall version 2.7.0 is susceptible to a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability. This flaw allows attackers to inject malicious JavaScript payloads through unsanitized input sent to the hotspot_permanent_users endpoint. By submitting POST requests containing harmful scripts in the MACADDRESSES parameter, unauthorized users can execute arbitrary scripts in the browsers of unsuspecting victims, leading to potential data theft and session hijacking.
