What is CVE-2019-25425?
The Comodo Dome Firewall version 2.7.0 is vulnerable to reflected cross-site scripting, which can be exploited by attackers through crafted input to the VIRUS_ADMIN parameter. By sending malicious POST requests to the smtpconfig endpoint, attackers are capable of executing arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of an administrator's browser session. This vulnerability poses significant risks as it can lead to unauthorized access and data compromise, affecting the integrity of the firewall system.
