What is CVE-2019-25429?
The implementation of Comodo Dome Firewall 2.7.0 is vulnerable to a reflected cross-site scripting attack. This vulnerability permits attackers to manipulate the openvpn_advanced endpoint by submitting specially crafted input. By exploiting this flaw, attackers can inject malicious JavaScript code through the GLOBAL_NETWORKS and GLOBAL_DNS parameters via POST requests. As a result, arbitrary scripts can be executed in the context of users' browsers, leading to potential data theft or unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the user.
