What is CVE-2019-25430?

Comodo Dome Firewall version 2.7.0 is vulnerable to a reflected cross-site scripting attack. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to inject harmful scripts into the application by manipulating the 'username' parameter. By sending crafted POST requests to the 'vpn_users' endpoint, an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript within the context of the victim's browser, potentially compromising user data and leading to further exploits. This vulnerability highlights the critical need for input validation and sanitization measures to protect users from malicious attacks.
