What is CVE-2019-25432?
Part-DB 0.4 is susceptible to an authentication bypass vulnerability that enables unauthenticated attackers to gain access by exploiting SQL injection flaws in the login mechanism. By injecting malicious SQL syntax, specifically a single quote followed by 'or', into the authentication parameters, attackers can circumvent credential verification. This allows unauthorized users potential access to sensitive application functions and data.
