What is CVE-2019-25448?

OrientDB version 3.0.17 presents a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that can be exploited by authenticated users. By injecting malicious scripts into the name parameter while creating user accounts, attackers can execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This vulnerability takes advantage of the document endpoint, allowing attackers to send POST requests containing harmful scripts. When users interact with the application, these scripts can execute, potentially compromising user data or leading to unauthorized actions.
