What is CVE-2019-25463?

SpotIE Internet Explorer Password Recovery version 2.9.5 is susceptible to a Denial of Service vulnerability arising from the registration key input field. Local attackers can exploit this issue by entering an excessively long string—up to 256 characters—into the Key field during the registration process. This action can trigger a buffer overflow, leading to a crash of the application, thus compromising its functionality and availability.
