What is CVE-2019-25546?

NetAware 1.20 is susceptible to a buffer overflow vulnerability within the Share Name field. This flaw allows local attackers to disrupt application functionality by submitting an overly long string, specifically a 1000-byte buffer, when creating a new share via the Manage Shares interface. By exploiting this vulnerability, attackers can crash the application, leading to a denial of service condition.
