What is CVE-2019-25563?

PCHelpWareV2 version 1.0.0.5 is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application. This can be achieved by submitting a specially crafted BMP file with an oversized buffer while using the Create SC feature, leading to application instability. Proper validation of image file formats is critical to mitigate this issue.
