What is CVE-2019-25587?

The BulletProof FTP Server version 2019.0.0.50 is vulnerable to a denial of service attack through its Storage-Path configuration parameter. Local attackers can exploit this vulnerability by supplying an excessively long string value, specifically a buffer of 500 bytes or more, when enabling the Override Storage-Path setting. This action can lead to an unexpected application crash during the configuration saving process, potentially disrupting service and affecting users.
