What is CVE-2019-25593?

jetCast Server 2.0 is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability that permits local attackers to crash the application. By inputting an excessively long string of 5000 characters into the Log directory configuration field, an attacker can initiate a server crash by clicking the Start button. This flaw can disrupt service availability and requires immediate attention to mitigate potential exploits.
