What is CVE-2019-25596?

SpotAuditor 5.2.6 is vulnerable to a denial of service attack due to improper handling of input in the registration dialog. By inputting a excessively long string in the Name field, such as a buffer containing 300 repeated characters, a local attacker can cause the application to crash, disrupting the intended functionality.
