What is CVE-2019-25609?

The JetAudio JetCast Server 2.0 contains a vulnerability in the Log Directory configuration field that leads to a stack-based buffer overflow. Local attackers can exploit this weakness by injecting specially crafted alphanumeric encoded shellcode into the Log Directory field. This manipulation allows them to overwrite structured exception handling (SEH) pointers, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the application.
