What is CVE-2019-25613?
The Easy Chat Server version 3.1 is susceptible to a denial of service attack, which allows remote attackers to crash the server. By sending an excessively large message through the message parameter in a POST request to the chat.ghp endpoint, attackers can disrupt the normal functioning of the application. This vulnerability can be exploited by establishing a chat session and manipulating the message size, leading to a server crash and potential downtime for users.
