What is CVE-2019-25615?
Lavavo CD Ripper 4.20 has a structured exception handling (SEH) buffer overflow vulnerability that can be exploited by local attackers to execute arbitrary code. By providing a specially crafted string in the License Activation Name field, an attacker can manipulate the application's memory and control the flow of execution. This can lead to the execution of unauthorized code, potentially allowing the attacker to gain control of the affected system and establish unauthorized network connections.
