What is CVE-2019-25626?

The local buffer overflow vulnerability in River Past Cam Do 3.7.6 allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code. By supplying a crafted activation code string, an attacker can manipulate a buffer that leads to code execution through the activation dialog. Specifically, attackers can provide a buffer containing 608 bytes of junk data followed by shellcode and SEH chain overwrite values. Proper input validation and sanitization measures should be implemented to mitigate the risks associated with this vulnerability.
