R i386 version 3.5.0 features a security vulnerability that allows local attackers to exploit a buffer overflow in the GUI Preferences dialog. By inputting crafted strings in the 'Language for menus and messages' field, attackers can manipulate the structured exception handler (SEH) to overwrite its records.
