What is CVE-2019-25671?
The VA MAX 8.3.4 software contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the server. This is achieved by injecting shell metacharacters into the mtu_eth0 parameter, which is processed by the changeip.php endpoint. By sending specially crafted POST requests, attackers can execute commands under the permissions of the apache user, potentially compromising the integrity of the affected system.
