A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by inputting a specially crafted path string, specifically one that consists of 384 'A' characters followed by sequences 'BBBB' and 'CCCC'. This manipulation can lead to the application crashing during a local search operation, impacting the usability of the software and potentially disrupting user activities.
