What is CVE-2019-25691?

Faleemi Desktop Software version 1.8 features a local buffer overflow vulnerability within its System Setup dialog. This security flaw allows attackers to exploit structured exception handling to bypass Data Execution Prevention (DEP). By injecting a specially crafted payload into the Save Path for Snapshot and Record file field, an attacker can trigger a buffer overflow that enables arbitrary code execution through the use of Return Oriented Programming (ROP) chain gadgets. This vulnerability poses a significant risk of unauthorized access and manipulation of the affected system.
