What is CVE-2019-25736?

The LabF nfsAxe 3.7 Ping Client is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, which could be exploited by local attackers to execute arbitrary code. By manipulating the Host IP input field with a specially crafted payload, attackers can overwrite the return address, potentially enabling the execution of malicious commands, such as calc.exe. This vulnerability poses significant security risks, allowing unauthorized command execution on affected systems.
