What is CVE-2019-25750?

The J-MultipleHotelReservation component for Joomla version 6.0.7 is susceptible to an SQL injection vulnerability. This flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the hotel_id parameter and execute arbitrary SQL commands. By crafting specific POST requests to the search-hotels endpoint, attackers can utilize SQL UNION SELECT statements to retrieve sensitive information from the database, including table names and column data. Proper validation and sanitization of user inputs are crucial in safeguarding the application against such attacks.
