What is CVE-2019-25752?

The J-BusinessDirectory component for Joomla! version 4.9.7 is susceptible to SQL injection, allowing unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. By manipulating the 'type' parameter via a GET request, attackers can inject UNION-based SQL statements. This vulnerability enables them to extract sensitive database information, including schema names and private user data, which poses a significant risk to the integrity and confidentiality of the application's database.
