What is CVE-2019-3568?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists within the WhatsApp VOIP stack, allowing an attacker to execute remote code by sending specially crafted RTCP packets to a vulnerable device. This issue affects multiple versions of WhatsApp across different operating systems including Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and Tizen. Users are recommended to update their applications to the latest versions to mitigate this security risk.
