Link Vulnerability in Moodle Versions by Moodle
CVE-2019-3850
4.3MEDIUM
What is CVE-2019-3850?
A link vulnerability exists in Moodle prior to versions 3.6.3, 3.5.5, 3.4.8, and 3.1.17. The issue arises from assignment submission comments where links are opened in the same window. This behavior, combined with the absence of a no-referrer header policy, heightens the risk of exploitation, even with valid links. Users may unknowingly expose sensitive information to attackers if they click on these links.
