What is CVE-2019-3923?

Tenable's Nessus prior to version 8.2.2 is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue arises from inadequate validation of user-supplied input, allowing an authenticated remote attacker to craft a request that could execute arbitrary script code in the context of a user's browser session. Users are advised to upgrade to Nessus 8.2.2 or later to mitigate this risk.
