Remote Code Bypass in Crestron AM-100 and AM-101 by Unauthenticated Users
CVE-2019-3934
5.3MEDIUM
What is CVE-2019-3934?
The Crestron AM-100 and AM-101 devices are vulnerable to a security flaw that permits remote, unauthenticated attackers to circumvent presentation code protections. By sending a specially crafted HTTP POST request to the 'login.cgi' endpoint, attackers can gain access to the current slide image without needing the correct access code. This poses a significant risk as it facilitates unauthorized viewing of sensitive presentation materials.
