The AM-100 and AM-101 devices developed by Crestron are vulnerable due to the insecure storage of sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and passcodes in cleartext within the file /tmp/scfgdndf. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to easily access and recover sensitive data, potentially leading to unauthorized access and exploitation of the vulnerable devices.
