What is CVE-2019-3977?
MikroTik's RouterOS contains a vulnerability in its autoupgrade feature where it fails to properly validate the source of upgrade packages. This flaw allows a remote attacker to exploit the system by enticing the router to download an older version, potentially leading to the reset of all system usernames and passwords, compromising network security.
